During the month of December Warbirds Online featured the Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation (CAC) Boomerang aircraft its history and news on restoration projects currently underway in Australia. There could be no more suitable aircraft to be celebrated in this way. As a part of our ‘special feature’ on the CAC Boomerang we shared a number of videos and have consolidated four of these for Warbird enthusiasts.
1. CAC-19 Boomerang WW2 Fighter

2. The CAC 19 Boomerang, RAAF Spitfire and P40 Kittyhawk in the ‘Pacific’
This video shows three high-powered WW2 fighter aircraft, all in Royal Australian Air Force colours are shown here during their ‘Pacific Theatre’ display at the Classic Fighters airshow held at Omaka Aerodrome, Blenheim, New Zealand in 2001.

4. Tyabb Airshow – Pt 6 -Boomerang, P40 and O2
This video shows the howl of an attacking Boomerang, and the snarl from a pair of P40’s (one is a P40F, (Packard-Merlin) the only one flying in the World) at the Centenary of Aviation Airshow in Australia on 18 April 2010.
