Warbirds Online got up close & personal with the aircraft on the Flight Line walk at the Flying Legends 2018 airshow in the UK. For a small fee of £5 those attending the airshow can walk along the flight line between 9am and 12 noon to view the aircraft at close quarters. Re enactors were on the flight line this year to pose with the aircraft or with the public. Another way to get up close to the aircraft is to arrive early & set up position on the fence to see the aircraft taxiing past. Warbirds Online did both. One important highlight adjacent to the flight line this year was the presence of The Fighter Collection’s magnificent Fiat CR 42 which is not yet airworthy, but was on display. The Flight Line walk is not to be missed. It’s an important aspect of any Flying Legends Airshow and is a must if you attend this event.
